The Notary Chamber of Azerbaijan and Baku State University have signed an agreement on joint activities.

The Notary Chamber of Azerbaijan and Baku State University have signed an agreement on joint activities on April 7, 2021.

 

In the meeting held at Baku State University, Rector of Baku State University Elchin Babayev emphasized the importance of prospects of cooperation between the University and the Notary Chamber, and he also spoke on issues such as teaching lawyers the practical experience, at the same time implementing joint projects and activities in this field, as well as studying notarial law and on issues related to other mutual interests.

 

Highlighting the reforms in the country Chairman of the Notary Chamber Huseyn Mammadov stated that as a result of study of advanced international experience the legislation has been improved, as well as improvement of opportunities of “Electronic notary” data system uniting notary offices in a single network made notarial acts more convenient and efficient. Application of private notary institute in the country has been expanded and in order to improve the efficiency of notarial activity the Notary Chamber of Azerbaijan that unites notaries in a single entity has been established and started operating.

 

In his speech the Chairman has expressed his assurance on useful results of cooperation with Baku State University, such as improvement of legal theory and law enforcement practice related to notarial activity and optimization of study of notarial law.

 

Pro-rector of Baku State University Alish Aghamirzayev, Dean of the Law faculty of Baku State University Amir Aliyev, senior counselor of Registration and Notary General Department of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan Vidadi Mayil and notary of Baku city notary office № 11 Ilgar Mammadov have participated at the meeting.
