The Notary Chamber of the Republic of Dagestan celebrated its 25th anniversary of establishment on October 5, 2019. Shamsutdin Jalayev, Chairman of the Chamber greeted the participants of the ceremony. He noted that, the most important characteristics of each member of the Notary Chamber of the Republic of Dagestan are high professionalism, responsibility, personal spiritual interests and love to the position assigned to them and these qualities have been a great support to go through a long and difficult 25 years.

25 years ago – on September 28, 1994 the constitutional assembly was held where the decision on establishment of the Notary Chamber of the Republic of Dagestan was made and the Charter approved on October 4, 1994 by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Dagestan was adopted. Magomed Jalayev who was the first Chairman of the Notary Chamber of the Republic of Dagestan led the private notary system of the Republic of Dagestan for 24 years.

Congratulations were made by chairmen and members invited from the Notary Chambers of the Russian Federation, as well as representatives of state authorities, ministries and departments of the Republic of Dagestan participated at the event. Stanislav Smirnov, vice-president of the Federal Notary Chamber, president of Moscow Notary Chamber, Elena Jurinskaya, counsellor of the president of the Federal Notary Chamber on cooperation with state authorities, Gazimammad Sefikurbanov, Minister of Justice of the Republic of Dagestan, Umar-Khalipa Shakhmanayev, chief of the Department of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Dagestan, Alavudin Mirzabalayev, chairman of the Committee on Legislation, Legitimacy, State Establishment and Local Administration of the National Council of the Republic of Dagestan, Jamal Aliyev, official on human rights in the Republic of Dagestan (chairman of the Dagestan Regional Department of Russian Lawyers Association), Imamutdin Mamayev, colonel of internal affairs, chief of the law department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Republic of Dagestan, Nazirkhan Hajiyev, vice-rector of the Dagestan State University, Azadi Rahimov, teacher of the Dagestan State University, doctor of jurisprudence (former Minister of Justice of the Republic of Dagestan), Huseyn Magomedov, director of the Northern Caucasus Institution of the All-Russian State University of Justice (the Russian Law Academy of the Russian Ministry of Justice), Malik Hajiyev, director of “the Boarding School for Orphans” Municipal Government Educational Organization.

During the event, notaries were awarded honorary diplomas, letters of appreciation and medals by the Federal Notary Chamber for their long and honest work in the field of notaries, honorary diplomas and letters of appreciation by the National Council of the Republic of Dagestan, honorary diplomas and letters of appreciation by the Notary Chamber of the Republic of Dagestan. Stanislav Smirnov solemnly presented a certificate to the Honorary President of the Notary Chamber of the Republic of Dagestan Magomed Jalayev.

At the end, Shamsutdin Magomedovich congratulated all colleagues once again on the 25th anniversary of the Notary Chamber of the Republic of Dagestan and wished them success in all beginnings.
