As part of the measures taken to improve the quality of legal services provided to the population and improve the activities of notaries, consistent measures are being taken to form a corps of notaries with transparent procedures.

In this regard, lawyers wishing to be engaged in the notarial activity in Mingachevir, Shirvan, Naftalan cities and Tovuz, Aghjabadi, Khizi, Salyan, Lankaran, Yevlakh, Jalilabad, Zagatala, Khachmaz, Barda, Zardab regions and who meet the requirements of the legislation were invited to participate in the competition announced in September last year. At present, in connection with the easing of the special quarantine regime in connection with the pandemic COVID-19, a test exam on the competition is scheduled for early April this year. In this regard, it was decided to close the application process on March 5.

According to the “Notary Law”, the documents submitted by the candidates will be checked in compliance with the requirements established by law.

It is noted that the Academy of Justice will organize special training courses for lawyers participating in the competition to help them to be prepared perfectly for the test.
